How to convert text to mp3 audio file

With speech synthesis technology, you could convert text files such as files with format of txt, rtr, doc, pdf and htm into audiobooks in mp3 or wav format, then you can listen to them with a portable mp3 player while walking, jogging or commuting to work. That's a very cool and practical idea. The following is the solution.

To do this, all we need is to download a text-to-speech software program Panopreter Plus, install it on computers with Windows XP, VISTA and 7, Windows VISTA and 7 are recommended, because of the improvement of the sound quality of the voice
of Microsoft Anna. If your are using Windows XP, you'd better install a third party voice.

1. Run Panopreter Plus first, select the speech mode by clicking "Read file" radio button on the up-left corner, then click the "Add" button to add your files, and "Delete" button to remove the file. you can add multiple files here.

2. Select the language from the language list window, the language you select must be the same as
that of the file(s), otherwise the speech will not be what you want to hear. The default selected language is US English.

3. Select the text-to-speech voice to read the files, the default text-to-speech voice for US English on Windows Vista and 7 is Microsoft Anna, and Microsoft Sam on Windows XP.

4. Click "Save to audio" button, panopreter plus begins to convert the files into wav and mp3 files. Click "Speak" button, it will read text aloud, you can adjust the volume and rate too.

This is a very simple to use for most computer users, your avoid eyestrain while listening to vocal speech by ear. To students, it's a language learning tool too, any words you don't know how to pronounce, it will read it correctly for you. By the way, all the reading are in natural voice, not robotic voice.

11 Tricks to Increase Firefox speed 10 times

Hi friends, today i will share with you 11 tricks to increase Firefox browsing and normal speed 10 to 30 times. These are 100% tested hacks and improves the browsing speed of Firefox at least 10 times. These tricks are basically the latest tweaks found by several computer experts including me. These are special tricks that boost your Mozilla Firefox browsing speed by 10-30 times.

11 Tricks to Increase Firefox Speed

1. Type about:config in the address bar and then press Enter.

2. In the filter search bar type network.http.pipelining. Be sure the value field is set true,if not double-click to set true. HTTP is the application-layer protocol that most web pages are transferred with. In HTTP 1.1, multiple requests can be sent before any responses are received. This is known as pipelining. Pipelining reduces page loading times, but not all servers support it.

3. Go back to the filter search bar and type network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. Double-click this option and set its value to 8.

4. In the filter search bar and type network.http.proxy.pipelining. Once opened doubleclick on it and set it to true.

5. In IPv6-capable DNS servers, an IPv4 address may be returned when an IPv6 address is requested. It is possible for Mozilla to recover from this misinformation, but a significant delay is introduced.
Type network.dns.disableIPv6 in the filter search bar and set this option to true by double clicking on it.

6. CONTENT INTERRUPT PARSING
This preference controls if the application will interrupt parsing a page to respond to UI events. It does not exist by default. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Boolean from the pop-up menu. Then:
A. Enter content.interrupt.parsing in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK
B. When prompted to choose the value for the new boolean, select true and click OK.

7. Rather than wait until a page has completely downloaded to display it to the user, Mozilla applications will regularly render what has been received to that point. This option controls the maximum amount of time the application will be unresponsive while rendering pages. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.
A. Enter content.max.tokenizing.time in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK
B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 2250000 and click OK.

8. CONTENT NOTIFY INTERVAL
This option sets the minimum amount of time to wait between re flows. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.
A. Type content.notify.interval in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.
B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 750000 and click OK.

9. CONTENT NOTIFY ON TIMER
A. This option sets if to re-flow pages at an interval any higher than that specified by content.notify.interval. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Boolean from the pop-up menu.
B. Type content.notify.ontimer in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK.
C. You will be prompted to choose the value for the new boolean. Select true and click OK.

10. Notify Backoffcount
This option controls the maximum number of times the content will do timer-based reflows. After this number has been reached, the page will only reflow once it is finished downloading. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.
A. Enter content.notify.backoffcount in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.
B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 5 and click OK.

11. CONTENT SWITCH THRESHOLD
You can interact with a loading page when content.interrupt.parsing is set to true. When a page is loading, the application has two modes: a high frequency interrupt mode and a low frequency interrupt mode. The first one interrupts the parser more frequently to allow for greater UI responsiveness during page load.
The low frequency interrupt mode interrupts the parser less frequently to allow for quicker page load. The application enters high frequency interrupt mode when you move the mouse or type on the keyboard and switch back to low frequency mode when you had no activity for a certain amount of time. This preference controls that amount of time. Right-click (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.
A. Enter content.switch.threshold in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.
B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 750000 and click OK.

12. NGLAYOUT INITIALPAINT DELAY
Mozilla applications render web pages incrementally, they display what’s been received
of a page before the entire page has been downloaded. Since the start of a web page
normally doesn’t have much useful information to display, Mozilla applications will wait
a short interval before first rendering a page. This preference controls that interval. Rightclick (Apple users ctrl-click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.
A. Enter nglayout.initialpaint.delay in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.
B. You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 0 and click OK.

Windows Hidden Tools

Are you a Windows XP User ? How many utilities do you know that is built-in Windows XP ? Notepad, Wordpad, Character Map, Calculator, Microsoft Paint, these are the few utilities that I usually use.But out of blue,Windows Xp is a fully loaded package which has a lot of apparently hidden utilities which are seldom accessed by a basic or normal computer users ; and trust me,they still pack a lot of punch.
To run any of these apps go to Start > Run and type the executable name (i.e. charmap) and press Enter.
Character Map (charmap.exe) - Very useful for finding unusual characters.
Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr.exe) – The usual Disc cleanup.
Clipboard Viewer (clipbrd.exe) - Views contents of Windows clipboard.
Dr Watson (drwtsn32.exe) - Troubleshooting tool, runs when windows crashes.
DirectX diagnosis (dxdiag.exe) - Diagnose & test DirectX, video & sound cards.
Private character editor (eudcedit.exe) - Allows creation or modification of characters.
IExpress Wizard (iexpress.exe) - Create self-extracting / self-installing package.
Microsoft Synchronization Manager (mobsync.exe) - Appears to allow synchronization of files on the network for when working offline. Apparently undocumented.
Windows Media Player 5.1(mplay32.exe) - Retro version of Media Player, very basic.
ODBC Data Source Administrator (odbcad32.exe) – Database connection utility for support with external servers, create ODBC data sources,to administer remote databases or for supporting the ODBC database utility in Visual basic language.
Object Packager (packager.exe) - To do with packaging objects for insertion in files, appears to have comprehensive help files.
System Monitor (perfmon.exe) - Very useful, highly configurable tool, tells you everything you ever wanted to know about any aspect of PC performance, for budding uber-geeks only.
Program Manager (progman.exe) - Legacy Windows 3.x desktop shell.
Remote Access phone book (rasphone.exe) - Documentation is virtually non-existent.
Registry Editor (regedt32.exe or regedit.exe) – For making custom changes or hacking the Windows Registry.
Network shared folder wizard (shrpubw.exe) - Creates shared folders on network.
File signature verification tool (sigverif.exe) - This tool will search the operating system and identify any unsigned device drivers installed on the system. It will also verify all signed device drivers.
Volume Control (sndvol32.exe) - I've included this for those people that lose it from the System Notification area.
System Configuration Editor (sysedit.exe) - Modify System.ini & Win.ini just like in Win98! .
Syskey (syskey.exe) - Secures XP Account database, use with care, it's virtually undocumented but it appears to encrypt all passwords, I'm not sure of the full implications.
Microsoft Telnet Client (telnet.exe) – Built in telnet client which can be used to connect to servers to sent emails or to hack :) This is disabled in in vista  but you can re-enable it by going to
Control panel –> Programs and Features –> Click "Turn Windows features on or off" on left –> Scroll down and check "Telnet Client.
Driver Verifier Manager (verifier.exe) - Seems to be a utility for monitoring the actions of drivers, might be useful for people having driver problems. Undocumented.
Windows for Workgroups Chat (winchat.exe) - Appears to be an old NT utility to allow chat sessions over a LAN, help files available.
System configuration (msconfig.exe) - Can use to control startup programs, make changes to startup of XP.
Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) - Used to manage group policies, and permissions. Its an Administrator only tool.

Cheers and keep learning.

Microsoft Unveils First Windows 8 Preview

We have seen leaked images and downloads of Windows 8 OS but this time Microsoft has finally unveiled the very first video demonstration showing us what's in the store for upcoming major upgrade to Windows platform.
The video demos the next generation of Windows, internally code-named “Windows 8”. According to the official announcement the "Windows 8" based PC is really a new kind of device completely revamped from the chip to the user-interface, one that scales from touch-only small screens through to large screens, with or without a keyboard and mouse.
The demo shows the metro tile based user-interface for a new generation of touch-centric hardware. Fast, fluid and dynamic, the experience has been transformed while keeping the power, flexibility and connectivity of Windows intact - watch the full video after the jump.
Here are a few aspects of the new interface we showed today:
• Fast launching of apps from a tile-based Start screen, which replaces the Windows Start menu with a customizable, scalable full-screen view of apps.
Live tiles with notifications, showing always up-to-date information from your apps.
